Children’s Story Time
Saturday mornings at 10am during the school year.  We start the second Saturday in September and go through mid-December and then start back up again in February and go through April. These are laid back, fun mornings to encourage kids to come to the library.  We typically have 8-12 kids come ranging in age from 1-10.  We do crafts and activities, read books, and eat snacks.

Children’s Summer Reading
This is similar to our story times during the school year but we usually have a larger group of children and “bigger” crafts.  Children are encouraged to read books throughout the summer and receive prizes at the end if they reach their goal. These are also at 10am on Saturday mornings and run June-July (except the Saturday following July 4th)

TALK Book Discussion Group
This group meets 6 times per year.  The Kansas Humanities Council provides leaders and we borrow books from other libraries so this a wonderful no cost program for our  adult patrons!  We typically meet the 2nd Thursday in February, March, April, August, October, and November from 5:30pm-7pm.
