Can’t find the book you want at our library? We’d be happy to help you find it elsewhere. Through Interlibrary Loans we are able to get books from across the state delivered to our library. Just let us know the title and we can check the database. Please allow 2 weeks for these book requests to be processed.
Found a book on the Hutchinson Public Library website but don’t want to drive to Hutch to pick it up? We have a special arrangement that allows us to check out books from HPL and have them at our library in a matter of days. Just e-mail or call us with the title, author, and call number (if applicable).
Interlibrary Loan Agreement
Patrons must acknowledge that by checking out materials through interlibrary loans they are responsible for any fees incurred due to loss, damage, or late fees. They are also responsible for a late fee of 50 cents per day for everyday it is late and for any late fees charged by the loaning library.
